Privacy

Short version: your pictures and everything you type stay on your device. There are no accounts, no cookies and no adverts.

Pictures and numbers

The pattern maker reads the picture you choose, drop or paste inside your browser and draws the chart there. The picture is not uploaded or sent anywhere, and it is gone when you close or reload the page. The calculators also work entirely in your browser.

What is saved on your device

A few things are kept in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. They never leave your device, and you can delete them at any time, here or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

• Theme (velvetstitchery-theme): your light, dark or automatic choice.
• Floss list (velvetstitchery-floss): the colours, stitch counts and settings in the floss calculator. Its Clear all button removes it.
• Last pattern's threads (velvetstitchery-pattern-threads): the DMC numbers and stitch counts of the chart you sent to the floss calculator, but not the picture.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to the pages it serves. It counts page views without cookies or cross-site tracking, and it never receives your pictures or anything you type, paste or drop into the tools. Like any web server, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver the pages.

Links to other sites

Links to sources, sister sites, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck open those sites, which have their own privacy policies. Nothing from these tools is passed to them.
